The aura tracking is designed to visually mesh with the standard UI theme but includes many improvements and options to change the appearance and location of different types of effects. It also supports display of gear proc cooldowns, and has accurate mechanics for things like collecting the pools from Essence Thief dismissing the proc AOE display, etc. It can also do other things, like keep track of stacks from various abilities like Hawkeye and Merciless Resolve, or from gear like Thrassian Stranglers or Relequin. It supports all the standard abilities that appear under the Character window or the built-in tracker, as well as many effects like enchants and gear procs, cooldowns and other things that normally only show via graphical effects on your character (or not at all). Srendarr replaces the game's limited built-in buff and debuff tracking and gives you the ability to customize the display of these effects on yourself as well as others (even group members). Latest changes: NEW: Overhauled prominent aura system: Add any aura to any frame! NEW: Can now set player buff/debuff, target buff/debuff, and AOE to custom frames by aura or ID! NEW: Added the ability to set individual ID's for configured prominent auras to separate frames! ![]()

We would probably bowl here often for some family fun if they didnt have so many tvs, I dont think that we will go back. The bowling alley was clean and freshly remodeled, the staff was friendly, and they served good beer. We went bowling as a family and it was hard to focus on the game and the family because the tvs were so distracting. I am disappointed that there are so many tvs here. All in all, another fun place to take your family. The arcade section is a nice addition, but there isnt much there to promote it like Big Als would. When youre done bowling they have a killer arcade towards the back, and while most of the games are very pricey ($1.00 to 4) theyre all really sleek and new looking. Everything is remodeled! The food wasnt exactly what we ordered and it took forever to get drink refills.Īmazing to see a modern bowling alley in an age where most seem to be dying out. Our appetizer and main food came out at the same time and they were both cold because it took so long for it to get brought to the table. The tap house restaurant is not great however. I went in there and three or four older guys drinking were already commenting and talking to them. The reason for the two stars is the guy Jimmy behind the bowling counter seemed rude and was only willing to give my girl a lane in the tap room. ![]() To their credit they did give another one for free. The pizza was pretty good but they put it on one of those stands and sure enough Grandma flipped it onto the floor within minutes. There are lot of things I actually like about Kingpins, but unfortunately the most important thing- the actual bowling lanes- can be very frustrating for someone who is serious about bowling and improving their game. The pro shop is great, the staff is knowledgeable and super helpful. If you join one of their house leagues you can get discounts on games, food and merch from the pro shop. The food served is better than average for a bowling alley, and they have a pretty good selection of microbrews on tap. There are some good things about this place: the staff is friendly and service is quick. Sometimes the oil coating is so thick that it leaves huge globs of grease on my ball. At any other place in town I can usually get through almost an entire game before needing to wipe down my ball, but here I have to clean the oil off my ball every couple of frames. It is really difficult to throw with precision on such slick lanes. The lanes are way too oily- I play on a regular basis and I can say that I bowl my worst on these lanes. I have bowled here several times and find it really frustrating. ![]() ![]() ![]() How to do that with the burden of immense suffering? Tumor cells have a high glucose consumption rate and all the waste derived from their metabolism leads to an acidic microenvironment outside the cell, which the autophagy seems to help to deal with since chronic exposure to low pH enhances the autophagic machinery. Tumor cells have also developed the ability to increase autophagy in their neighboring cells, the so-called “tumor microenvironment”, further providing tumor growth. ![]() Such fast-growing cells need many nutrients, which autophagy helps to provide. In other words, degradation and recycling of cellular components makes the tumor cells able to cope with intracellular and environmental stress, thereby facilitating their rapid growth and division. One explanation for this is the fact that autophagy facilitates survival of tumor cells that would otherwise face a shortage of nutrients and oxygen. This means that tumor cells have figured out a way to take advantage of autophagy and use it to promote cancer progression. This means that autophagy constitutes a powerful obstacle against malignant transformation, but if for various reasons our autophagy levels drop, cells can become malignant and get away with it, turning into tumor cells (the figure above illustrates the whole process).Īfter the malignant transformation, the tumor cells seem to increase autophagy levels and use it for their own benefit. In general, autophagy prevents cancer development by removal of harmful components, including damaged mitochondria that if remaining in the cell can cause alterations in cellular metabolism, increased inflammation, DNA damage and oxidative stress, all of which are factors leading to cancer. Defective autophagy can lead to an accumulation of “rubbish” that can be harmful to our body, which can cause causing diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, demonstrating the importance of autophagy.īut wait, what does this have to do with cancer? And how can something so beneficial for our health turn against us? This paradox is why autophagy often is referred to as a “double-edged sword”. Just as we can imagine the consequences of a world without recycling, things will start to look very messy in the tiny world that is our cells if autophagy stops working. Nowadays we have no doubt that autophagy is very important for the well-being and function of our cells. The fascinating field of autophagy has grown exponentially since the very first discovery of lysosomes by Christian de Duve in 1955, and the identification of the autophagy genes (1993) for which Yoshimori Ohsumi was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2016. Image from Galluzzi et al (2015) illustrating the different levels of autophagy throughout the whole cancer progression The proteins and the damaged organelles are degraded into basic building blocks, which are delivered back to the cell. To continue the rubbish metaphor, the things that need to be degraded get surrounded by a double membrane (we will call this the “trash bag”) and once it closes it is delivered to the lysosome (the recycling station), which contains the hydrolytic and proteolytic enzymes that will break the sequestered material apart. You might just thank nature for being so wise. At this precise moment as you are reading this text your body is breaking down millions of structures in every cell in your body. Autophagy is happening in your body right now. This process can also get rid of viral and bacterial invaders, which makes autophagy not only a metabolic pathway, but an immune one too. ![]() If our body is low on energy, say we haven’t eaten in a few hours, it will use autophagy to create building blocks from obsolete structures to satisfy the cells’ requirements. This process, called autophagy (meaning self-eating) not only demolishes the trash though it is also a great energy sensor. Cells have the unique ability to destroy components that are damaged or useless and turn them into small building blocks that are recycled into new products. Luckily, our cells are much smarter than we are, and understood the importance of recycling long time ago. In this case, the trash accumulates and the world becomes less of a healthy place to be. The problem however, comes when these waste items become too numerous or too difficult to break down. With time, things get decomposed and get smaller until they eventually are small enough to become part of the environment again to be reused. Have you ever thought about where all the things that we trash end up? They don’t magically disappear from the earth. ![]() ![]() A wide range of features beyond time tracking: You can use Homebase for all your team management needs - we also offer top-of-the-line employee scheduling tools, hiring and onboarding features, and a team communication app.Online services and Apps available for iPhone, iPad, and Android. The oscillations of the cesium atoms are then used to regulate the clock's timing circuit, which in turn controls the display of the time. Atomic clocks use a beam of cesium atoms that are excited by microwave radiation, causing them to vibrate at a precise frequency. In modern atomic clocks, the oscillation of atoms is used to regulate the clock's timing. These vibrations are used to regulate a timing circuit, which in turn controls the display of the time. In electronic clocks, oscillators are typically based on quartz crystals, which vibrate at a precise frequency when an electrical current is applied. The swinging motion of the pendulum is transmitted to a system of gears and levers, which turn the hands of the clock to display the time. In mechanical clocks, this is often achieved using a pendulum, which swings back and forth at a fixed rate. An oscillator is a device that produces regular, repeating vibrations at a constant frequency. ![]() The exact workings of a clock depend on its type and design, but most clocks use some form of oscillator to regulate their timing.
